RECOVERY PASTE is a source of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) valine, leucine and isoleucine, plus cofactors for horses and dogs in a paste for oral administration. BCAAs make up one-third of muscle protein. Increased supply of BCAAs after exercise will significantly improve muscle recovery so that muscles are ready to exercise again sooner. Give daily or as directed by a veterinary surgeon, best within 30 minutes of completion of exercise. Each mL contains:
L-valine 150mg, L-leucine 100mg, L-isoleucine 50mg, Pyridoxine HCl (Vit B6) 20mg, Ornithine alpha ketoglutarate 20mg
Dosage: Horses; Intensive - 10ml, Maintenance - 5ml; Dogs 0.5ml/10kg.
