Vetsearch HUMIDIMIX is an electrolyte replacer for horses exercising in hot or humid conditions, horses that lose large amounts of sweat during exercise or travelling, and horses who get 'thick winded', excitable or easily fatigued. Beneficial for pacers, endurance horses, eveneters, show horses, dressage, showjumpers and general performance horses. Acid electrolyte mix to buffer 'alkalosis' cause by heavy sweating and encourages drinking to prevent dehydration.
Composition: Each kg contains ammonium 33.6g, calcium 40.1g, carbonate 60.0g, chloride 438.7g, magnesium 9.2g, potassium 209.6g, sodium 117.9g, sulfate 36.4g.
Administration: Can be mixed into feed, drinking water or used as a drench.
Dosage: 45g daily as 1 scoopful (22.5g) morning and night. Increase dose as required to treat alkalosis or hypochloraemia.
