Moxidectin 20 mg/g, praziquantel 125 mg/g. Moxidectin is a second generation macrocyclic lactone, and praziquantel is a synthetic isoquinoline-pyrazine derivative.
Equest Plus is indicated for the treatment and control of tapeworm (Anoplocephala perfoliata), roundworms (including arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris), adult and encysted stages (DL, LL3 and EL4) of small strongyles, bots and Habronema sp. Aids in control of early encysted L3 stage of small strongyles, including inhibited larvae (more than 90% effective). Do not administer the full syringe to horses under 400 kg. Use with caution in foals and smaller breeds by carefully calibrating the dose and avoid overdosing. Accurately determine the weight of the horse to be treated (if a scale is not available, use a weigh tape) and be sure to adjust the syringe to the correct dose for the horse.
